On November 21, 2013, the Ukrainian people launched a peaceful protest. The government was supposed to sign a free trade agreement with the European Union, but it decided to go against the people's will and sign a deal with Russia. A huge setback for the Nation, the future of the young generation was compromised, it was like going back to the time of the Soviet Union. This peaceful demonstration was the trigger for the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Dombas in February and April 2014. The war then began.
We gave a talk at Red Bank Regional High School and Rumson Fair Haven High School about this Revolutionof Dignity, the start of the war and the invasion in 2022, how it affected our family and have launched our humanitarian action to send trauma supplies to Ukraine.
