When people ask me and my husband David Halbout “how are you?”, I often change the subject without answering. How am I, knowing the my hometown of Kyiv was shelled yet again with 4 rockets this morning? See the video. How am I, knowing that thousands of people are refugees( including all of my family scattered around the world)and lost the little possessions they had? How am I, knowing that there are hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers die every day and so many are gravely wounded? How am I knowing that my country is continuously battered by Russian artillery?
