Today is our first fundraiser to collect funds for first aid kits so needed in Ukraine. David Halbout of French Fix LLC and I brought some of our creations (whatever we could fit in our car), and put up a sign "100% of proceeds will be used to buy first aid kits for Ukraine". We were met with a warm welcome and are proud to say that we are several hundred dollars closer to our goal. To be honest: it is much easier to just buy all the first aid kits with our own funds, but I feel it is important to continue raising awareness of the atrocities inflicted on Ukraine. Every Ukrainian I know wakes up in the morning to check what city was attacked again and how many people died. Then we pull ourselves together and try to carry on with the day not to fall apart and cry so hard, that the stuff starts running out of the nose…..
